OK, I'm back in the saddle

Still suffering from an accute case of PVDD.
(post vacation depression disorder)
Slowly but surely gettin' back into the groove.
Today is knee surgery. All those years of running
injury free have finally caught up with me I guess. The
Doc tells me I'll be back at it in 3-4 weeks. Do you think
they would allow me to do a blog post from the O.R.?
OK, from last week we have a few interesting arrivals.

First, new 1:18 announcement from Autoart

This is the 1964 Lotus MK1 as driven by the legendary
Jim Clark. Should arrive sometime in September. Thanks
Don for the info on this one!

Black is in.........

1:18 Buick Grand National Streetfighter by GMP.
These GN models always sell out quickly.
Greenlight 1:18 Black Bandit series

VW Microbus in matte black

Or the original VW Beetle

For the 1:43 crowd this week:
McLaren M23 Long Beach GP James Hunt
Minichamps is still taking good care of the classic F1 collectors.

New from Spark

1969 Matra Racing Transporter
New shipment from IXO

'63 Corvette Stingray in black w/red interior
The last color sold out quickly, don't snooze
on this one!

New LaStoria release

When they announced this series 4 years ago,
we had no idea that it was going to be a 10 year plan.
But slowly but surely they are releasing all the models
that were originally announced. Better late than never
I guess. This is the 156/85 as driven to victory at the
1985 Canadian GP by Michele Alboreto.

New batch of LeMans by IXO

This link will take you to the new 1:43 category. The 2009
Aston Martin versions as well as the Oreca's are now in
stock. Corvette versions too including the class winner.
IXO continues to be the bargain brand in this day and
age of $60.00 ready builts ala Spark and Minichamps. But
don't let the half price thing throw you. These are exceptional
quality for the modest price tag.

OK, I will be out of commission for a few days but will be back at ya
on Friday. I have a feeling that I won't be riding this weekend......
Let's talk soon!
MF
