Yep, Bill Holland got screwed by his own team! Equally interesting regarding the 500 is the recent book written about the first race, "Blood and Smoke", written by Charles Leerhsen. I highly doubt Ray Harroun was the actual winner of that race....but I don't think anybody really knows who truly won. Timing and scoring in 1911 was really hit or miss!
