On a better note, here's a vid shot by my
personal instructor for the day Paul. He's
an expert level racer and knows the track
extremely well. I'm wearing the orange
vest so he can easily pick me out when in
traffic. We also have communicators in
our helmets so he can coach me while on
track. Good stuff and I shaved mega time
off my lap times in just one day. I highly
recommend it.
Aloha from the Maine coast!

Track days recap.......
Well I've had a bunch of you asking how my latest
stint at the track went? Well, let's just say that I
"got off" easy.........
It started off so good. Off we go to NHMS on a
beautifull sunny afternoon.
Day 1: Some yahoo tries to pass me and 5 other
bikes in turn 3. When I lay the bike over, there
he is. My back wheel hit his front and down he
went. I stayed up some how. On his way down,
his handlebars puncture the tail piece.
Half a roll of duct tape and I'm back on track.
Day 2: Shitty picture I know, just a teaser to show
you the outcome of falling off in the rain. I watched
my italian mistress go down the track on her side
and me following close behind on my butt.
New bodywork is already on the way and my
fabricator is already fixing up the shifter/foot peg
that were also casualties.
The good news: My leathers and armour/padding
did their job and I walked away unscathed.
Next outing: 3 weeks!
Stay tuned.

Manic Monday.....
Howdy!
This cat is headed to the track shortly for a
Tuesday/Wednesday fix. Supposed to be beautiful
weather, hoping to shoot some on board video this
time out.
Here's a few shots I took at the parade in Boston.
Over a million people, it was pure insanity. One big
street party that lasted almost 24 hours. The bars
were all open early serving Guiness and eggs.......
A good time was had by all.
My trusty staff is here to take good care of you
while I'm away filling my need for speed.
Catch everybody on Thursday!
Have a good one.
Mark
Our main man Chara hoisting the cup for the crowd.
This will give you an idea of how many people
were there. At some spots they were 30-40
deep just to catch a glimpse of the players and
the cup. If you don't do well with crowds then
you would not have had a good time with me on
Saturday. LOL

TGIF......
Hey gang,
Happy Friday. I was planning to work tomorrow and
shoot a new video, but with our Boston Bruins winning
the Stanley Cup this past week, we are headed to Boston
today so we can help with the celebration parade on Saturday.
It's been 39 years since our last one. Figured I
better enjoy it and take part in the festivities.
OK, on to a little biz.
I've been leaking info that Replicarz will have our
own line of models. Well, here's our first announcement.
1:18 So-Cal Belly Tank Land Speed Car
Yes Precision Miniatures produced this one several
years ago, and yes ours is being produced from the
same tooling but with some upgraded parts and technology.
Limited edition of just 1,002. Pre-order is the only way
to guarantee that you get one. Have you seen what the
original release sells for on ebay? Stay tuned, our next
announcement will come shortly.
A new F40 version from Mattel Elite.
Many of you know that once upon a time I was not
a fan of Mattel Elite's. Well that has all changed in the
last year or so. They are producing some incredible
quality and the price is still right around a hundred bux.
Now you guys know that you don't get much these days
for a hundy. And to boot, it's a Ferrari and it's a LeMans
version. Check it out if this fits your collecting theme.
New 1:18 from BBR
The Ferrari 458 Italia Challenge and the 599 GTO
both arrived this week. These are both sealed body
designs (of which I am not a fan) but they look great.
Click on the image to see these and all the new 1:18's
we received in this week.
New Spark shipment
Well, the Spark shipment was not as big as we thought
but still some great new releases. Among them is
the ultra cool 1934 Voisin Aerosport. These classic
street cars have been selling out almost immediately
and this one will be no exception. If this kind of subject
matter tickles your button, then don't snooze on this one.
OK, that's it for now. I'm off to Boston shortly.
Maybe a blog video from the parade tomorrow?
Think they will let me drink champagne out of the cup?
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
And Happy Fathers Day to all you dads.

The Car Room......
I've received numerous inquiries over the last few
months about "what's going on with The Car Room?"
I just happened to pop over to their site today and
spotted this very sincere letter by Joe Kelley.
http://thecarroom.com/articles/and_now_we_say_goodbye/2022/
Joe is a very enthisiastic guy and was an asset to this
great hobby of ours. He has a passion for model cars,
and he will be missed. Our best goes out to Joe, his staff,
and his family.

Aloha from Boston
In town for the Red Sox game last night.
Here's a great shot from the 24th floor of the
Hilton. Today it's some sight seeing and yes
FOOD! Then later a short drive in the Z to
NYC to visit daughter Tara. In the meantime,
our Happy Hour sale is under way.

Some great bargains to be had, check it out.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
