Down but not out....
It takes more than that to keep this cat (dog) away........
I should be home in bed and that's where I'm headed,
but I have a few that I have to throw out to the bloggers
before I crash.
OK I know a bunch of you missed out on this one. 1981
Brabham BT49C Piquet World Champion 1:43 by Minichamps
Out of the blue our boy Floyd comes up with 14 pieces for us.
Arriving this week, order now or forever hold your peace!
1960 Cooper T53 Sir Jack Brabham World Champion
We are happy to announce that we will now be carrying
Biante Model Cars from down under. One of their first
releases will be this 1:43 rendition of the T53. Engine detail
and paint quality look to be top notch. Rumor has it this
same car will be done in 1:18. Stay tuned...........
Let's get on to TSM
1:18 Porsche 936/77 LeMans winner 1977.
They showed samples in Germany and it looks awesome.
A lot of model for this price range. These guys have it dialed!
John Lennon's Rolls Royce
The 1:43 crowd is showing it's age group based on the sales. lol
Very nice detail and nice base and cover too.
1:43 Classic Grand Prix cars are all the rage these days. TSM is
committed to this subject matter for years to come. Exceptional
detail and beautiful display base/cover.
Let's get into some of the Spark/Bizarre
We have been waiting for the reproduction of this model for
about 3 years. Better late than never, the Green Monster is
back in stock for the LSC collectors.
Joe Leonard Indy Lotus 56 1968
This one is in stock and selling very fast. If you
pre-ordered, it's on the way. If you didn't, now is
the time before this one is gone. Exceptional job
on the color and the driver figure is impressive.
Another one that was sold out.........
Somehow we received re-stock after being told it was
sold out. Gotta love when that happens. The Scarab has
been a model that we have been getting requests for years.
This is the 1958 Santa Barbara version driven by Lance
Reventlow. Only about a dozen up for grabs.
OK, I need some Nyquil and a bed.

over all design and build. 1:43 Indy cars are hard to come
by, this one won't last long. Get your orders in pronto to
avoid missing out.

Few tid bits.......
Has anyone seen Renault's new colors for 2011.
Lotus as a sponsor? Sup wit dat? Looks very similar
to the old JPS colors doesn't it? Heidfeld shown here
behind the wheel during recent testing at Jerez
filling in for the injured Kubica.
Rubens Barichello put the Williams at the front of
the test sheets on the final day. Nice to see some of
the "other" teams showing well in testing. With the
season opener just a few weeks away it's shaping up
to be a great season. We are hoping to have 2011 F1
listings from Minichamps posted soon. Stay tuned!
Heads up on this one!
Minichamps 1:18 Porsche 906 Long Tail
Better late than never huh? We have been taking
orders on this one for the better part of three years.
We finally received a shipment last week but all of
them were spoken for to fill our pre-orders.
We have 12 more pieces arriving in a few weeks, after
that it is sold out. So get your order in now to secure
one from this last shipment.
Made it through manic Monday, smooth sailing for the
rest of the week.......
Have a good one!

popular with the 1:18 crowd. Pre-orders are already
rollin' in, great big thank you to all of you.
McLaren MP4/12C
This car needs no introduction. Check out the vids
for details and specifics on the real deal.
Porsche 918 Spyder in gray metallic

Speaking of 1:43

Back in the saddle........
Germany was incredible and Toy Fair was great as
it always is. I have oodles of pix that I shot at the
museums. Instead of trying to post them all here
individually, I'm working on an album so I can just
post the link here for you guys to view at your
leisure.
Today a few links to get you started.
http://www.auto-und-modell.de/
This guy does an awesome job every year of showing
what each mfg. showcased at Toy Fair and tons of pix.
You can translate to english, but for some reason you
can't view the large images in english?
We also have the new 2011 Minichamps list posted.
This is a PDF with our product numbers. We will have
all on the web shortly for pre-order. My hot picks for
the year are highlighted in red.
http://www.replicarz.com/images/minichamps2011.pdf
I also found a few new lines that we will be adding to our
existing offerings. More info on these coming soon.
OK, back to work.

A few Toy Fair nuggets
Good Morgen!
Friday Feb. 4
I scoured the show floor for 9 straight hours
yesterday. I was more like a little kid in a
candy store than a businessman meeting
with his suppliers. Some great stuff coming
in 2011.
You know I was drawn to this like a magnet.
Maisto managed to get "The Doctor's" new
GP11 Ducati for the entrance of their booth.
It drew flocks of two wheel wackos like me.
The CMC Ferrari transporter was the buzz
of the show. Unfortunately they would not
take it out of the display case for photos so
the image is not the best. This one should
arrive 2nd qtr. BIG and incredible detail.
Spark 1:18 Lotus 25 Jim Clark. The Spark booth
I have to say was a bit disappointing considering
the vast array of subject matter they have. But
they did have a few suprises like the 1-2-3 place
LeMans 2010 Audi R15's in 1:18 scale.
Stay tuned for more.
AUTOart 1:18 Porsche 804 Dan Gurney.
Although they did announce this one last
year the actual delivery seems to point
towards 2nd or 3rd qtr. of this year.
This one was drawing a lot of attention
from the 1:18 crowd.
The food is great over here. The beer even
better. And the people are warm and friendly
to us Americanos that no speaka da lang.
Ya'll have a good day!
Till next time!

Car lovers dream day......
I can't possibly post all the pix I took today.
But here are few that I know you guys can relate
to. We started in the morning with a trip to the
Mercedes Museum. The building alone will take
your breath away. 8 stories of the most incredible
M-B cars of all time.
The Blue Wonder transporter. I spent 20 minutes
looking at this one. Between the truck and the W196
on the back......unbelievable workmanship for the time
period.
300 SLR Ulhenhaut Coupe
No words needed.
So many classics........incredible stuff.
More pix coming tomorrow
I will get some posted from Porsche museum.
